How wild he was in his youth, unbridled excitement that he didn\u2019t quite know what to do with other than grab a ball.
\nThe way he followed Dan around everywhere like his shadow
\nHow he could be so vulnerable and so strong at the same time.
\nThe way he would get crazy at night with excitement when everyone was finally calm and altogether pushing his ball into our laughs and bothering us – his favorite time of day was when we were all together
\nHis lopsided face
\nHow much he loved to give mouth kisses over and over. Filling an emotional need deeply.
\nHe tolerated dogs, and absolutely adored humans
\nHis screeching that he only did for his favorite people when he hadn\u2019t seen them in a while \u2013 Mom, Dan, Mike, Debra
\nHis obsession with a laser
\nAll the trouble has green rubber ball got us in
\nHis yearning to always know where we were
\nHis vulnerable heartwarming nature
\nHow he grew to hate the vet. Shaking and panic attacks, my sweet boy.
\nAt 12.5 years old, he chased a coyote into their den of 7 and got bit on his way out!
\nHow he loved to chase the van in his wheelchair
\nHis picky appetite, and how he would make such a mess when I would hand feed him.
\nThe absolute pure innocence of him
\nBarking at crows and seagulls, especially and wanting to chase their shadows
\nEven barking at airplanes!
\nHe tolerated most dogs, but he especially accepted Teddy, who he let lay right next to him in his bed .two old men
\nHow Bernie respected him immediately
\nHis farts were so smelly
\nHow he insisted on sleeping in bed with us
\nHow he got more stubborn the older he got.
\nHis joy at meeting new people
\nHis small paws, his big chest, his thin white coat.
\nHis voracious will to live. And Connect with humans
